James DeCoursin, Founder and CEO
James DeCoursin has enjoyed a long and distinguished career in the pharmaceutical industry that spans more than 40 years. He founded Syncom in 1985, and has been the driving force behind the Company’s ascent from a fledgling startup to a leader in the US contract sales market. Before founding Syncom, DeCoursin was the Vice President Marketing and Corporate Development at Forest Laboratories, where he spearheaded several key acquisitions that helped raise the companies' revenues from $5 million to $80 million in just five years. Prior to that, he served as the Vice President of Marketing and Sales at Ayerst Labs. DeCoursin began his sales career at Parke-Davis and later at Roche labs, where he spent 13 years as the Director of Sales Promotion & Administration.
Richard Gaden, President
With more than 30 years of sales experience, Richard Gaden is Syncom’s President. As the operational head of Syncom, he is responsible for all sales initiatives, logistical management and human resources administration. Prior to joining Syncom in 1991, was a Regional Sales Manager at Whitehall Labs’ Division of American Home Products. Gaden began his career at Professional Way Dental Labs, where he worked for ten years while serving as the Company’s Director of Sales.
